Zheng Chang developed China’s first generation of pellet mills for pelleted feed in the 1970s. Zheng Chang’s SZLH 1208 livestock and poultry feed pellet mill has the largest production capacity (55–75 t/h) in China. The bearing temperature measurement system monitors the main bearing temperature in real time and warns before failure. The external lubrication and cooling system circulates to lower the oil and main bearing temperature while lubricating the main bearing. The electric die hoist improves die and roller assembly efficiency. This  pellet mill also has an electric cutting adjustment mechanism that improves the precision of the uniformity coefficient.

Zheng Chang’s SZLH 880X shrimp feed pellet mill can be used to produce both floating and sinking shrimp feed. It has an external pneumatic discharge mechanism, and the scraper design ensures smooth discharge and stable operation. An insulated jacketed (double-walled) conditioner and a twin-shaft conditioner with counter-rotating shafts improve the conditioning (cooking) process.

The main shaft system has a double-support structure that prevents vibration and achieves greater extrusion force from the die. An external die and roller control device can adjust the gap without stopping work. Key components such as the main shaft and gears are made of high-quality alloy steel. Higher gear transmission and larger transmission torque ensure a 15% increase in output.
