• A gear-driven transmission transfers power from the machine’s powerful motor to its gearbox through a direct coupling and, compared with belt systems, increases efficiency by 20%. Gear systems use less energy than belt systems, and at the same energy consumption gear-driven pellet mills produce 20% more than belt-driven ones. The gearbox uses very high-quality gears, and special long-life alloy bearings reduce gearbox wear.

• The unique design of this gearbox produces higher torque, which increases the rotational speed of the die, as well as the quality and capacity of the pellet mill.

• An overload protection system protects the pellet mill from damage caused by foreign objects, and the magnetic separator installed on the machine eliminates the risk of metal objects entering.

• Because the conditioner of the gear-driven pellet mill is longer than on other machines, cooking and gelatinization time increases, production efficiency rises and it performs as well as the double conditioners of other machines. The conditioner is made of stainless steel to last longer under direct contact with steam. It can also be used with a DDC conditioner and a hygienizer.

• Large inspection doors for cleaning and steam inlet, plus sensors in the pellet mill body that react to the slightest fault or damage and shut the machine down, make maintenance easy. Thanks to automatic control with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and easy hydraulic die replacement, operation is very simple and precise.
